Team Aeroshell

Team Aeroshell

The Aeroshell Team has been performing for over twenty years, amassing thousands of hours in front of airship fans all over North America.

The North American Advanced Trainer AT-6 “Texan” Nicknamed “the Pilot Maker”, the North American AT-6 Texan first appeared in 1938. Originally designed as a trainer for the United States Army Air Corps, the Texan was the primary training platform for all airmen in World War II that went on to fly fighter aircraft such as the P-51 Mustang, F4U Corsair, P-40 Warhawk and others. Today Texans are still flown as basic trainers and light attack aircraft by the air forces of 22 countries.

The Pitts Model 12 is the 12th design by legendary aircraft designer Curtis Pitts. The "Standard" Model 12 is an extremely High Performance, Unlimited Aerobatic capable, Radial engine powered Biplane. The "Greg Connell Airshows" Model 12 ratchets up the level of performance even more than the ridiculously incredible abilities of the "Standard" Model 12!

The "Connell Model 12" is the only two place Model 12 in the world with the single place wings and aelerons!!!…This wing-aeleron combination gives this massive biplane an incredibly fast roll rate!

The "Greg Connell Airshows" Model 12 is "billed" as an amazingly exciting airplane that has "WARBIRD PRESENCE AND POWER WITH PITTS AGILITY AND ATTITUDE!"

I have been performing at Airshows and Aerobatic Competitions since 1996, specializing in the large radial engine powered aerobatic aircraft. I accompanied an aircraft I was maintaining for a performer to several shows and took care of the aircraft during the event.

With the performance edge of almost One to One power to weight ratio, the airshow this aircraft can perform is truly awesome. There is no other airshow act operating this aircraft anywhere in the USA.

From the extremely short take off roll of about 3 seconds in 300 feet to the blinding all out acceleration this aircraft will be at maximum forward speed while still over the runway.

The Pitts Model 12 has a rate of climb approaches 4,000 feet per minute.

The roll rate is over 360 degrees per second.

It is swinging an 8 foot diameter, 3 blade propeller that produces over 1600 pounds of static thrust. With an airshow weight of less than 1850 pounds it's not hard to have fun.

The Lycoming AEIO-360 engine with 180 horses, inverted fuel & oil systems and large wing allows for an up front and down low performance. Greg Koontz flies this popular plane through a solo aerobatic routine that demonstrates its agility with a full set of outside loops, vertical rolls, snaps & tumbles and inverted passes. The grand finale is a down low, in the dirt inverted ribbon cut!

Misty Blues All Woman Skydiving Team

For over 20 years, The Misty Blues All Woman Skydiving Team has been thrilling audiences at Airshows, Corporate events and other Special occasions.   There are about 31,000 active skydivers in the whole North American continent.  Of those, a mere 14% are women.  In a reversal of the usual statistics, the Misty Blues team is 100% women.  They do things in the air that make people look up into the sky and feel excitement, or patriotism or the thrill of a shocking visual treat.

We open the airshow with our 30 x 60 ft American Flag.  We also have colorful flags, banners, and the largest Smiley face flag you have every seen, along with aerial maneuvers.  We can also jump any sponsor flag/banner in the airshow.

Team has 8 women from all across the US.  And why are there 8 women on the team if four go to every show?  Besides being great skydivers, these women are also highly successful professionals.  A few of the “other” jobs of team members:  Doctor, Welder, Airport Manager, Financial Analyst, Engineer, Gemologist, the list of accomplishments is amazing.

The ladies after their jumps go meet as many people as possible, its one of their favorite parts of the job.

Between team members we have over 30 records & 20,000 jumps and the average number of jumps per team member is an amazing 2,000.

Team has performed all around the world:  Malaysia, Mexico, Japan, United Arab Emirates and to all corners of our beautiful United States.

Rower Airshows

This is Rower Airshows, the most exciting, pulse pounding vintage Stearman airshow on the circuit today! Gary Rower, a former USAF F-16 instructor and current airline captain, has flown all over the world, accumulating over 21,000 hours in every type of aircraft imaginable.

The bone-rattling resonance of a modified Pratt and Whitney R985 radial engine. Almost 1000 cubic inches of inimitable vintage character and 450 horsepower coupled with an incredible billowing smoke system! When this amazing bird takes to the skies over show center, you are guaranteed to see an unforgettable demonstration of skill and aerobatics in one of the most beautiful examples of this classic aircraft in the world!

Tiger Airshows

Tiger Airshows combines the best in what a family friendly Circus has to offer with the thrill and excitement of an Airshow, precision Tiger formation aerobatics, custom smoke ring special effects, and a comedy act that is so funny it should be illegal.

Ladies and gentlemen…. “This is NOT your ordinary 3 ring circus!”

Tiger Airshows is proud to introduce the Twin Tiger Aerobatic Team. Buck Roetman and Mark Sorenson have teamed up in two identical Tiger Yak 55’s with a magnificent aerial demonstration of precision and skill as they perform spectacular formation aerobatics.

Gary Ward

Gary Ward

Gary began his airshow career in 1998 in a Pitts S2-B. In 1999, he moved to the Giles 202 and in 2006, he became the first pilot to begin flying airshows in the awesome new MX2! The MX2 is the absolute latest in unlimited aerobatic aircraft. It is strong, fast, and very agile!

Wildhorse Aviation

Wild Horse Aviation, founded in 2006 by Buck Roetman, specializes in aircraft acquisition, maintenance, fabrication and export.

Buck Roetman has been flying for over 35 years - he has flown more than 105 different types of airplanes, from Cubs to corporate jets, resulting in more than 13,500 hours of flight time.

Roetman holds the following FAA certificates ATP, Commercial, Multiengine, CFI, CFII and CFIM. He is typed in Learjet, Westwind, Citation and Hawker. In addition, he is an Airframe and Power plant mechanic with an Inspection authorization and is an Aerobatic Competency Examiner for the International Council of Air Shows.

Roetman currently flies a modified Christen Eagle. The airplane was completed in 2003 and has been an airshow plane its entire life. It differs from most planes here today in that is has a Lycoming IO360 4-cylinder engine, built by Penn Yan Aero, and pumped up to 250 HP.
